Bacon-Chestnut Appetizers

  Ingredients

Can of whole water chestnuts

1

Pound of thinly sliced bacon strips cut into halves
1/2
Cup of brown sugar
1/4
Cup of mayonnaise
1/4
Cup of chili sauce
  Directions
  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  Cook bacon to remove some of the grease. Make sure that the bacon is soft enough to wrap around the water chestnuts.
  Mix the brown sugar, mayonnaise, and chili sauce in a mixing bowl.
  Wrap bacon strips around the water chestnuts and fasten with a toothpick
  Bake wrapped water chestnuts in oven until you can drain off most of the bacon grease.
  Pour the sauce mixture from the mixing bowl over the wrapped water chestnuts.
