Can of whole water chestnuts |

Pound of thinly sliced bacon strips cut into halves |

Cup of brown sugar |

Cup of mayonnaise |

Cup of chili sauce |

Directions |

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |
|
Cook bacon to remove some of the grease. Make sure that the bacon is
soft enough to wrap around the water chestnuts. |
|
Mix the brown sugar, mayonnaise, and chili sauce in a mixing bowl. |
|
Wrap bacon strips around the water chestnuts and fasten with a toothpick |
|
Bake wrapped water chestnuts in oven until you can drain off most of
the bacon grease. |
|
Pour the sauce mixture from the mixing bowl over the wrapped water
chestnuts. |
|
Bake in oven for 30 minutes |
