Apple Cake

  Ingredients

Cups of chopped apple chunks

Cups of finely chopped walnuts -- 1 cup for the cake batter and 1/2 cup for topping added before baking

Cups of sugar

Cup of unsweetened apple sauce

Cup of vegetable oil

Eggs

Teaspoon of Vanilla
1/2
Teaspoon of salt

Cups of flour

Teaspoon of baking soda

Teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2
Cup of brown sugar
3/4
Stick of butter
1/2
Cup of Pet milk
3/4
Cup of confectioner sugar
  Directions
The cake batter
In a bowl, mix 1 cup of chopped walnuts, 1 3/4 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 3 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Add 4 cups of chopped apples after the mixture has been thoroughly mixed.
Pour the mixture into greased 9 x 13 oven safe pan
The topping added just before baking
Mix in a bowl 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the cake batter.
Place in the oven and bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes
Final procedure
Add 3/4 of a stick of butter, 1/2 cup of Pet milk, and 3/4 cup of confectioner sugar to a sauce pan.
Boil for 3 minutes
