8 ounce pack of cream cheese that is at room temperature |

Cup of white granulated sugar |

Directions |

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |
|
Grease an 8" by 8" baking pan -- spray, butter, ... |
|
In a small mixing bowl add the flour, chopped walnuts, and light brown
sugar. |
|
Stir in the melted butter or marine until are well mixed. |
|
Remove 1/3 cup from the mixing bowl for use to sprinkle on top later. |
|
Add the mixture from the mixing bowl into the greased baking pan.
Pat down evenly into pan. |
|
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes and let cool. |
|
Add cream cheese and granulated sugar to an electric mixing bowl. |
|
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. |
|
Beat in egg, vanilla, milk, and lemon juice. |
|
Pour mixture into pie crust. |
|
Sprinkle 1/3 cup of reserved crumbs on top. |
|
Bake for 30 minutes and let cool. |
|
