Pecan Tarts

 

  Ingredients
  Shells
1 1/2
Cups of butter or margarine

1

8 ounce bar of cream cheese
3
Cups of all purpose flour
Filling
2
Eggs
1 1/2
Cups of light brown sugar
2
Tablespoons of soft butter or margarine
2
Teaspoons of vanilla extract
1
Cup of Pecans
  Directions
  Shells
  Mix shell ingredients (butter/margarine, cream cheese, and flour together like a pie crust -- using your hands
  Take out a walnut size balls to make each shell crust
  Roll ball in hands and then flatten into a tart tin
  Repeat until all tins are full
   
  Filling
  Beat eggs in a mixting bowl until foamy
  Stir in sugar, butter/margaine, and vanilla
   
  Filling the shells
  Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  Chop pecans until they are finely ground
  Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground nuts to the bottom of a shell
  Add 1 teaspoon of filling on top of the nuts
  Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground nuts as the final layer
  Repeat until all the shells are filled
