3 ounce package of jello (should be the same flavor as the fruit
used -- see directions at bottom) |

Graham cracker or Oreo cookie pie crust |

8 oz package of Philadelphia cream cheese (optional for pie crust lining
-- see directions at bottom) |

Tablespoons of powered sugar (optional for pie crust lining -- see
directions at bottom) |

Teaspoon of Vanilla extract (optional for pie crust lining -- see directions
at bottom) |

Directions |

If you are using the optional cream cheese lining, go below and prepare
it first |

Mix the cornstarch, sugar, and corn syrup in a saucepan |
|
Add the water to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil |
|
Slowly mix in the package of jello |
|
Bring the mixture back to a boil for 1 minute |
|
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the fruit |
|
Pour the pie filling into the pie crust |
|
Chill for 1 hour before serving |

Directions for Optional Pie
Lining |
|
Place the Philadelphia cream cheese in a mixing bowl and allow to get
to room temperature |
|
Whip the Philadelphia cream cheese, powered sugar, and vanilla using
a mixer |
|
Spread the cream cheese evenly in the Oreo pie crust |
